Série Libre

Launched in September 2022, Série Libre presented by TD offers, for a second consecutive year, an exclusive platform for up-and-coming talent, helping them to propel their careers. Since the team of Festival International de Jazz de Montréal is behind the booking of artists, the organization also plays a major role in the media and public visibility of these up-and-coming musicians.

Since its inception in 2022, the Série Libre initiative has provided tremendous visibility for Tina Leon, who has dazzled audiences with her authenticity. Multidisciplinary artist Naomi and singer-songwriter Hanorah both launched their albums as part of Série Libre. Kanen, rising star of Quebec's contemporary musical landscape, presented his new show in Le Studio TD, Magi Merlin presented a large-scale concert at the event in honour of Black History Month and most recently, Fernie has been burning up the stage with a sensitive soul music.iskwē transported us into a world of electronic beats and indigenous sounds and Mopao Mumu presented her powerful texts in French, English and Lingala. In all, nearly 3,000 people attended the Série Libre presented by TD.
